He shook the world of pop when he announced that he would be leaving One Direction to go it alone, but now Zayn Malik has some even bigger news.
You got it, it’s time for his first fashion collaboration and who better for him to partner up with than urban footwear legend Giuseppe Zanotti.
Zayn isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of fashion and it was evident that his impressive fashion sense hadn’t gone unnoticed, when he was voted ‘Best Dressed Man’ by GQ UK readers in 2014. His enviable sense of style has been evolving since leaving the band last year and he is frequently seen wearing fashion forward designs from brands such as Versace, Louis Vuitton, DSquared2 and Valentino.
The collection entitled ‘Giuseppe X Zayn’ is set to drop in 2017, however the star has already been teasing fans on Instagram, showcasing one of the upcoming styles, a black suede zip up chukka boot.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, Malik spoke of how the pair met at Paris Fashion Week, going on to say:
“Style is not being afraid to be bold about some things, or to say what it is you have to say,” he said. “I feel like Giuseppe does that with his collection — and I try to do that with my music. So it kind of works.”
Zanotti only recently announced that he would be collaborating with Jennifer Lopez for a ladies shoe collection, also set for release early next year, so it would appear that he is on quite a roll in terms of getting big names on board. We can’t wait to see what both collaborations have in store!
