That’s right, another month has passed and as I have you sitting there wondering in astonishment where on earth the Summer has gone, we’re going to have a quick look back at some of the best dressed men and women of August.

Obviously the highlight of the last few weeks has been the Olympics and though this doesn’t immediately conjure up visions of style and glamour, we’re actually huge fans of the Team GB kit, which was designed by Stella McCartney in partnership with Adidas. And while we’re on the topic, how amazing did the team do?!

Stealing the show in terms of style, however, had to be none other than Brazilian beauty Gisele. Strutting across the arena wearing head to toe sequins, in what was to be her final ever catwalk, she proved exactly why she is one of the most legendary supermodels of all time.

Other highlights of the month included the VMAs and numerous festivals and premieres. So here’s a round up of some of our favourite looks:

Going for gold, Gisele dazzled in a slinky sequinned gown by Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch, for the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Rita Ora looked gorgeous as always, wearing a floor length DSquared2 gown out in New York.

Cara Delevingne channeled her Suicide Squad character in a gothic lace number by Alexander McQueen.

Jared Leto is one of very few men who could pull off this ornate long blue velvet jacket by Gucci, that he wore for the Suicide Squad premiere.

Queen B and Blue Ivy absolutely slayed in matching Francesco Scognamiglio dresses at the VMAs.

Drake and Rihanna got people talking wearing a suave Tom Ford suit and an Alexandre Vauthier gown.

Ellie Goulding caught some rays in a colourful cut out swimsuit by Camilla.

Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benzo sparkled at the Teen Choice Awards  in a metallic dress by Michael Kors.

Justin Bieber nailed the laid back summer look, wearing an Adidas tank and trainers, paired with Supreme shorts.

Jaden Smith proved himself as a budding style icon, as he sported a floral leather jacket by Gucci.

Diane Kruger looked gorgeous as always at the ‘Disorder’ screening in New York, wearing this voluminous poppy print dress by Alexander McQueen.
