Not long ago we learnt that Karl Lagerfeld had partnered up with Amsterdam based licensing platform Brandmark Collective, to launch his very own hotels and resorts brand. Well, news is in that yet another collaboration is in the pipeline and it’s not what you may expect! When you think of the luxury fashion designer, it most probably conjures up images of affluence and extravagance, however his latest collusion sees him stepping slightly outside of his usual realm.

In his latest venture, his Birman feline friend Choupette will be the one taking centre stage, as German brand Steiff launch their very own cuddly toy version of Lagerfeld’s pet. The company will make 2,000 limited-edition Choupette toys, featuring the cat’s same soft fluffy white fur and piercing blue eyes, as well as an accompanying magnetic black leather mouse.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise, however, as not only is Choupette an exceptionally beautiful feline, but she has her own Instagram account boasting 92,000 followers and even featured on the cover of Vogue and Harpers Bazaar.
