If luxury and sophistication is something that you look for in a hotel, this news will be music to your ears!
After years in fashion and earning status as one of the world’s greatest designers, 83 year old fashion guru, Karl Lagerfeld, is turning his hand to the world of hospitality.
Having already dabbled with hotel design in recent years, Lagerfeld has revealed that he is launching his very own hotel and resorts brand and I think it’s safe to say they may be the most stylish holiday spots to date! In partnership with Amsterdam based licensing platform, Brandmark Collective, the new venture aptly named ‘Karl Lagerfeld Hospitality’, will also encompass restaurants, clubs and residential properties.
His previous endeavors in interior design include his own luxurious 6 star hotel in Macau and design work for lobbies for Toronto and Miami condominium projects.
In an official statement, Pier Paolo Righi, CEO and president of Karl Lagerfeld the brand said:
“Expanding our brand into the hospitality sector reflects our greater vision to broaden Karl Lagerfeld’s comprehensive lifestyle experience.”
The new business venture already has a website up and running at karllagerfeldhotels.com.
