This month our style guide features those essential items for any stylish wardrobe this season – the gilet, the cableknit and some fantastic boots.
October Style Guide
Pyrenex are a French heritage brand specialising in down jackets, who have recently entered the world of high fashion with a superb collection of coats and gilets in bright colours and a variety of fabrics. Our model is wearing a brown ‘Spoutnic’ gilet, a superb bodywarmer with detachable hood.
Traditional knitwear is making a huge impact this season, with fairisle and cableknit designs flying off the shelves. Last month we featured a superb fairisle cardigan; this time it is the turn of the cableknit. This classic ecru cardigan is by Franklin & Marshall, a great heavyweight zip-through hooded knit, ideal for the cooler weather.
The featured jeans are by G-Star, a vintage ‘destroyed’ denim jean in the arc-leg style. This is a loose-fit jean with a contemporary twisted hem – a jean that will really get you noticed.
To finish the look we have these superb Timberland ‘Earthkeeper’ chukka boots. They have a leather and suede upper and are fleece-lined for warmth and comfort. A superb casual boot which will last you all season.
