County Antrim

Journey to County Antrim in Northern Ireland for a visit to one of the UK’s most well known landmarks. Set on the scenic coastside, the Giants Causeway often attracts tourists from all over the world, but for us lucky Brits it so happens to be right on our metaphorical doorstep. Formed by the cooling of molten lava, the almost perfectly hexagonal columns have become a true natural wonder. Also surrounded by peaceful countryside, the area makes for an ideal cultural chill out destination. For some exploration, make sure to check out the romantic 14th century ruins of ┬áDunluce Castle.

Lake District

The Lake District is one of the UK’s most popular natural parks, and with it’s breathtaking views and picturesque walking routes, there’s no question why it became home to the Romantic poets of the 19th century. From its collection of snow topped mountains to the glistening lakes and waterfalls, Lakeland is a truly tranquil destination for those with a sense of adventure. Edinburgh

However, there’s so much more to experience if you hop on the tube and head to east of the city! Take a trip to Brick Lane, or bar hop in trendy Shoreditch and live like a local for a truly authentic time in the capital.
