If skate shoes and classic trainers are your thing, the Vans ‘California’ range will be for you. Not widely available in the UK, this is a superb collection from the famous west coast brand, featuring classic designs with innovative use of fabrics, colours and finishes. For example, this Era model incorporates elements of the classic wingtip shoe, in a leather and wool upper with the typical Vans rubber sole.

Boots are of course an absolute must as the winter approaches, and this year we have an outstanding range to choose from. Native are really making waves this season with their ‘Fitzsimmons’ boot, a moulded plastic hiking boot available in a wide range of colours, featuring the cream Vibram sole which is everywhere at the moment. We also stock Timberland boots, with the ‘Earthkeeper’ range being the real stand-out; superb leather and suede models with impeccable eco-credentials.
