Established in 2016, P.E Nation is a fashion house by Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning operating in Sydney, Australia. The brand focuses largely on a range of street-meets-sportswear collections but has also recently expanded into more technical apparel with retro-inspired twists. The company is constantly adding fresh ideas to its already packed list of clothing lines, with collaborations happening all the time, and Zee & Co is thrilled to offer P.E Nation for our loyal customers this season.

So, what is P.E Nation and how did it come to be?

P.E Nation comes from the need for multi-faceted activewear that helps balance a fast-paced lifestyle. The brand’s philosophy is centred around quality design, construction and a never-ending passion to be the most talked about clothing style on the planet.

Who are the designers?

Pip Edwards: With an impressive history in Fashion and a Bachelor of Commerce/Law, Pip’s longstanding career has seen her work in PR and Design for Ksubi, whilst also being a freelance stylist with DLM – before landing her Senior Creative and Accessories Designer role at sass & bide. This is where her creative working relationship, and friendship, with P.E co-founder, Claire Tregoning, was cemented. It was only after Edwards made the pivotal move to General Pants Co as Design Director, that she was able to fully grasp and understand the retail landscape. She’s now made a mark, utilising her own namesake initials and retro-tomboy style, to launch P.E Nation.

Claire Tregoning: With a celebrated and longstanding career in fashion, Claire hails from a background of fashion and textile design. Shortly after graduation, Claire landed her first role with TopShop in London. After 2 years, she embarked on a solo journey and launched Maise – her own ready-to-wear label focusing on fashion and denim – this successful venture for Claire lead to her appointment as Senior Designer at sass & bide – Denim and Knitwear Specialist. sass & bide laid the organic foundation for what would become the ultimate C.T and P.E creative hub. It was only a matter of time and so fitting, that Claire and Pip would join forces to pursue their own vision, a shared vision of P.E Nation.

What does P.E Nation stand for?

P.E Nation is for an urban life lived at a fast-pace and designed to perform all day, every day. If you want to be a part of this amazing journey, then we only have one thing to say…Welcome to the Nation.
